Frontline demonstration (FLD):

The main objective of Front-Line Demonstrations is to demonstrate newly released crop production and protection technologies and its management practices in the farmers’ field under different agro-climatic regions and farming situations. While demonstrating the technologies in the farmers’ field, the scientist are required to study the factors contributing higher crop production, field constrains of production and thereby generate production data and feedback information.

OBJECTIVES:
1. To demonstrate the productive potential of newly released technologies to farmers’ conditions

2. To get first hand feedback on the contributory or limiting factors for achieving the productive   potential of the new technology

3. To prepare technical leadership in the village

4. To organize need based training programmers for Subject Matter Specialists, Extension Workers, and Farmers etc.
